WILDLIFE® Tinted Balm

I was not blessed with full lips, but I was hoping for a little sheer tinted balm that would give a little pop. The consistency is gorgeous - smooth, not at all sticky - but applying with a fingertip is clumsy on thinner lips. I end up looking like I've eaten strawberry jam with a spatula. :D

I did try this with my go-to Minx lip liner and managed to keep it looking tidier, but ended up overengineering things (even considered using a lip brush to apply it...).

I think it would make a beautiful balm/gloss in a stick, but this pot makes me look more like I've been playing in mummy's makeup bag than the effortless rosy pop I had hoped for. The colour is very bold for a balm too, so keep that in mind. More like a sheer red lipstick than a subtle bump of your own lip colour.

Quality = great. But unless you've got Angelina Jolie's lips as your canvas, it may not work for you.

A great alternative for the purpose is the new Fresh Face Cheek & Lip Tint in Deep Rose which is much easier to control and a more natural rosy red, though it won't give you a balm feel.

Colour in website image looks a fairly light, soft red, product is actually a strong scarlet colour, nothing that I'd ever wear.

It's ok but it does stain your finger so make sure there's tissue handy!!
